Description:
   Estimates from the Household Component of the 2006 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS-HC) show that the likelihood of being uninsured among people ages 19-23 varies according to demographic characteristics such as sex, race/ethnicity, education, employment status, and economic status. Uninsured young adults were also found to have less access to care than their insured counterparts.
