This Statistical Brief uses data from the 2003 through 2018 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey Household Component (MEPS-HC) to examine the number and percentage of persons with any dental and medical visits and provide a foundation for multi-directional integration of oral health and overall health. Estimates are presented for the total population as well as for specific population groups categorized in terms of sex, race/ethnicity, age, and region.
